Included with your cover purchase
- Your image on the cover of Salt Block Gazette with logo, website, and location (city, state) in a 4”x2” space.
- Cover story, including two additional photos
- 1/4 page color ad
Cover Photo - Format & Size
- The Salt Block Gazette Cover is a 8.125” x10.625” vertical format, therefore, a vertical image or horizontal image that can be cropped to a vertical is needed.
- The top 1/5 of the photo should be clear of subject matter to allow for the Salt Block Gazette logo.
- Digital photo files must be no smaller than 8” x 10” at 300 dpi. Anything less than that will become very grainy and fuzzy when enlarged .
- Prints should be no smaller than 5” x 7”; 8” x 10” is preferred. This ensures an acceptable reproduction of the image.
Cover Policy
Please include any special requests along with your photograph. We do our best to meet these needs, but make no guarantees. Salt Block Gazette (SBG) reserves the right to refuse any photo submitted. We consider this in the best interest of both SBG and you, the advertiser. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is due within 30 days from the commitment. There can be no outstanding balance on your account upon cover deposit. The cover will be held for the purchaser for the same month of the following year for 90 days after cover date.
Strict Deadline For the Cover Photograph
Photos are due 2 months prior to the cover date. Cover photos remain with Salt Block Gazette until cover is printed.
Cover Story
A writer will contact you to set up an interview and discuss the theme of your story. Two photos may accompany the story.
Cover Ad
Cover purchasers may either provide a camera-ready ad or our Graphics Department can assist you in creating your ad. Specs: 7.125” x 2.25”; 300 dpi, Four Color.
